Lightning & Canberra EE Open Day Saturday 25th July 2026 Gates open at 10:30.
A very special English Electric day with both of our Lightnings performing static reheat runs and the incredible English Electric Canberra, WT333, also powering up for a static engine run.
This is an experience not to be missed but due to space limitations we are restricted to just 200 tickets and these can only be purchased via our website. Gates open at 10:30hrs, please do not arrive early as this will cause traffic problems on the adjacent narrow roads. Please bring a copy of your PayPal receipt – this is your ticket.
Tickets are just £38 each and please enter the site from behind the Q-Shed off Bath Lane where you will see the access gate. DO NOT TRY AND USE THE MAIN ENTRANCE TO THE AIRFIELD!
Entry is only via the access gate on Bath Lane. If you look at map above, the blue circle is the museum entrance, red circle is Cox – head for the blue!
Please stay within the designated area around the Q-Shed at all times, this is for your own safety.
Our shop will be open and there will be refreshments, photo opportunities and a chance to once again get up and close with our Lightnings.
