Description

The star of this specially commissioned bookmark twin set is an English Electric Lightning F.6. The Lightning was a supersonic jet interceptor, designed to protect RAF airfields from Soviet bombers. Built around two jet engines, one on top of the other, the Lightning had exceptional speed and climb rate.

This RAF Binbrook bookmark twin pack comes with either the English Electric Lightning depicted in the markings of No. 11 Squadron RAF or in the markings of No. 5 Squadron RAF.
